The Heart Babies Collection

Have you seen The Heart Collection? I am very blessed to have a six year old son (Chandler) if you have seen the heart collection you have already read about him. We are very fortunate that he is living with a congenital heart defect (CHD) as are thousands of kids and adults and after meeting some very special people we have decided that we wanted to help, even if it is only one baby at a time.

Medical bills pile up when you have a baby with a CHD and because we have been there the Heart Babies Collection was born.

I've never talked about her here but through the wonderful world that IS the Internet, I met Courtney she is a snarky, hilarious, young woman, who other than being awesomely funny like me, we are in different places in our life but seem as though we are soul sisters. She is my Internet BFF and I heart her dearly.
Through Courtney I met her In Real Life best friend Melissa. Melissa is the mother of two beautiful children and her baby Alyssa was born with a CHD just a few months ago. So she is the one that inspired the Heart Babies Collection. Head over to the site and take a look, but the jist of it is this. For every Heart Babies Collection Bow sold, Flowerz In Her Hair will donate 100% of the profit of that bow to Alyssa's family to help ease their burden. When you are going through everything they are money is just one more thing that you don't need to worry about. I know, I've been there so even if we can only help a little that is what we want to do.

Over the past few months we have been working on some changes for the website and they are all up and ready!! There are a couple of New Bows one is the Triple Olivia bow, which is a really fun bow that comes in 3 different sizes. There is also the Loopy Bow. Which is one of the favorites around here. Also, we have lowered the price on the Itty Bitty Bow and the Olivia Bow.

I was really excited to make a custom Spirit Flower for her darling daughter. They are Patriots Football fans, and I love love love doing custom items. As a side note though I jokingly told Chris (aka DH and my partner in crime) that I wasn't sure I could actually make a Patriots bow, that my hands may explode. (since we are not exactly Patriots fans around here) but it turned out absolutely darling and the sweet little girl that was the model makes it all worth it.

I would be happy to make any custom spirit bow, fan or not!

Having Trouble Ordering?

It has been brought to my attention that several customers are having a difficult time placing orders. When they get to the website the menu bar on the left side is not appearing. If you are having this problem you have probably recently updated Windows Explorer. Sometimes...(and I don't know why) the site isn't always compatible with new updates immediately and I have to re-upload the site.
However, in order to upload the site I have to take the site down for several hours which is not always convenient either.

So here is the plan....
1. I will do my very best to get the upload done this weekend.
2. If you can get to the home page and there is no menu, you can click on the flower that is just above the 1-877 number (secret back door)
3. Call me and I would be happy to take your order over the phone.

New Changes

By popular demand, or popular vote I should say you can now buy the flowers...small, medium and large as well as the korker bows in sets and it is cheaper to buy the set. Since they are a set you only have to enter "1" in the qty box and it automatically shows up in the cart as a set of clips.

Also, for those of you having trouble ordering the 1.5" crochet headbands in a set of 3....that problem is fixed as well. I apologize that was our fault and I believe it has been resolved.

Thank you so much for your patience in getting these items resolved, and I always welcome your comments and feedback.....even the negative ones.

FYI There have been several new pictures added to the photo gallery as well as some awesome comments on the Happy Customers section.

Not too late for 4th of July

It's not too late to get your 4th of July bows and flowers! You can see them here under the Holiday Collection, or if you have a custom request send an e-mail to customerservice@flowerzinherhair.com and we will get you taken care of. You can still get them by the 4th if you order by Tuesday and if you select priority mail you can still order as late as Wednesday.

If you are local (northern UT) I will deliver up until Thursday night, and I will be in the SLC area on Friday morning. So dont' forget to get your 4th of July accessories ordered!!!
